Sushi bar experiences in Grand Traverse

Traverse City is set to welcome an exciting new culinary destination as Bonobo Winery and Dojo Sushi join forces to open a sushi bar and tasting room downtown.

 

Located at 115 Franklin Street, this collaboration brings together the expertise of Bonobo Winery, renowned for its exceptional wines, and Dojo Sushi, celebrated for its fresh, high-quality sushi.

 

The venue will feature an intimate indoor space with seating for 25-30 guests, complemented by an outdoor area offering picturesque views of Grand Traverse Bay.

 

Patrons can look forward to a curated selection of Bonobo's red, white, and sparkling wines, alongside a thoughtfully crafted cocktail menu.

 

At the heart of the establishment, a dedicated sushi bar will allow guests to observe the artistry of sushi preparation up close.

 

For those on the go, the wine bar will offer takeout options, enabling customers to pair their favorite sushi rolls with a bottle of Bonobo wine at home.

 

This venture marks a significant expansion for Bonobo Winery, which has been a staple on Old Mission Peninsula since 2014.

 

By establishing a presence downtown, Bonobo aims to reach a broader audience and provide a unique dining experience that seamlessly blends wine and sushi.

 

While an exact opening date has yet to be announced, the team is diligently working towards a mid-July launch.
